illamasqua theatre of the nameless transformation with mikele @ myer sydney city (ps. also more random sydney photos)

Girls promoting the new Freak fragrance

I just have the most imaginative titles, don't I? Of course!
When I was in Sydney, a visit to the Illamasqua counter was high on my agenda. $100 redeemable and a makeover too? Sold! Why not? This isn't going to be a huge in depth post because it was just me sitting there while magic happened, so have a few pics instead.

There I met Mikele Simone, who also happened to be counter manager (apparrently business manager too correct me if I'm wrong!) and an super awesome makeup artist too! I didn't get any pictures during the makeover because all Tom, Kate and Matt went down to the food court and did idk walking around and eating I don't know and left me in my makeuppy glory for like 2 hours or something.

Warning you, below the cut is a very Xiaxue-esque post with lots of pics of my face and not 100% relevant commentary!

Before: my regular face. Tom and I went to have breakfast in a cute little cafe/bookstore.
(another pic coz I thought it was cute and didn't know where else to put it. also more photoshopped)

Mikele setting up, me taking sneaky photo eheheh.

After!
Ok that was taken in the hotel room.

here's one on counter, we both have the same good angle LOL

I also met the other two MUAs working very briefly, Rhys and Adam. There was another girl who was leaving just as I arrived but barely caught a glimpse of her, idek if she even worked there haha! I wish I could have met Panda too, another monolidded beauty! They're all visible on the Illamasqua facebook, I'm not a creeper -___-

(from the Illamasqua Australia facebook page)
I couldnt find a pic of Rhys on the FB but you should all know his face from SYTYCD. I'm super bummed that I didn't get to take a pic of his hair on Sunday because it had the most awesome melange of blue in it but my camera ran out! *rage*

Working straight across from me as I was getting my face done was Rhys, doing what looked like the foundation of some awesome drag makeup (didnt stick around long enough to see the end result sadly)...

but the guy was wearing TOE SHOES.

AAAAAAUAUUGHUGGHHGHHH WHYYYYYYY

Honestly I don't know how you can get ready to go out and look hot wearing those no just no. :(

Anyway have more pics of the completed look... I didn't manage to get everything written down, opting for an email address to send my resume to instead, but here's what I got from memory.

Pure Pigments in Berber, Zeitgeist and Static on the eyes with false lashes in Weimar (which annoyingly enough, I took off and then LOST THEM IN THE HOTEL ROOM *seppuku*)

Skin Base #9 w Powder Foundation to set, Powder Blusher in Morale and Ambition, more Static to highlight...
Depravity Cream Pigment underneath Kontrol lipstick topped with a very light coat of Sheer Lipgloss in Violate with some sort of medium pencil to line.. I think it was Obscene.

...and more Static all along the collarbone, mixed with Beguile.

also my new outfit which I bought that day! I think its cute and sailory. :D

I hauled a lot of things so get ready for reviews galore!

xoxo
